Hi all! Here is the current list of jobs that need to be done in the KIPOS Garden! Once someone has completed a task, please comment on this forum which one has been finished. Once all the tasks have been completed I will update the list with new tasks!
- Hand Weed Rows (1-13) comment which row you weeded. (This is the most important job for the garden over the summer because our plot has been infested with invasive grass!)
P.S. If you're not sure if something is a weed, let it be!
- Water and turn compost piles
- Spot water flowers in front of the mural sign and the peach trees to the left of the compost piles.
- Weed around fruit trees and add more mulch around the trunk (pear 1&2, apple 1&2, peach 1&2)
- Organize the books in the community library - access to the shed and library can be gained by using your Whitworth Student email account to email kiposcommunitygarden@gmail.com)
- Transfer starts in larger containers (found in the greenhouse off the side of the theme house) into respective row. Refer to the garden layout:
*note that this is not completely accurate to how the garden is actually laid out, so just follow as best as possible!
